SAHSOL Students Win TIAC Nikonov International Tech Moot in Tashkent
The Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) is pleased to announce that its representative team has secured an overall win at the TIAC Nikonov International Tech Moot hosted by the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The team consisted of five members: Muhammad Umar Motasim, Muhammad Hashir Ismail, Ali Saqib, Kainat Khan Niazi, and Bilal Ahmed Panezai. The victorious delegation showcased outstanding legal expertise, arguing against a highly competitive pool of teams from Russia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Iran, and Central Asia.
In addition to bringing home the championship title, the team’s outstanding written advocacy was recognised, with their Respondent Memorial earning the highest score in the entire competition.
Following their historic victory, the team was honoured with an exclusive invitation to the Embassy of Pakistan in Uzbekistan. There, they had the privilege of meeting the Ambassador of Pakistan, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, who commended the students for elevating Pakistan’s academic standing on an international stage and celebrated their remarkable dedication to international dispute resolution.
